I finally found him. The guy who will fix all my home improvement woes, at a price I can afford, on a schedule I can live with. And, who will teach me to do it myself along the way.
Today, he came to work on the east wing bathroom. He threw up a shelf and framed in a soap dish as if it was no big deal. Unphased. Quickly evaluated, assessed, created. No fuss. No drama. What a delight! Plus -- he took the time to teach me. And, with a vision coalescing for the kitchen, he's gonna' help make that become a reality, too! Today, I am feeling hopeful and optimistic, instead of intimidated and overwhelmed. Thanks, G and M for the referral! What a savior!

Congratulations on your find. To find a person who does good work who is affordable and does good work with integrity is not an easy thing. Good luck in all your fixer up endeavors.
